Sexy Testimonial"Dear Mr. Mann, I was telling a friend the other day that my brain synapses were horny. I'm going to have an orgy this weekend! I've been downloading and printing all the marvelous reports from your website. I started reading them last night and WOW! It is a thrilling subject and I am having more fun than I've had with a subject in quite some time. I read Lysander Spooner quite some time ago, and even took out his complete works and read most of the writings of that remarkable American original. Lysander was a natural Terra Libran. About five years ago I read Julian Jaynes's incredible book, 'The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the BiCameral Mind'... [H]uman consciousness has been an area of intense interest for me. So has liberty and freedom. For the past few years, I have been involved in trying to change the political system for the better. This endeavor has had its predictable result. So I took up writing satire, hoping to make people laugh, and maybe sling a few thoughts into their brains at the same time. Ah well. Then I find your website, combining two of my intensest interests, and I just wanted to write and tell you what an incredible WHOOSH it has been. I intend to spend the weekend buried in all of your reports. It must be that I've come to the right point in my own thinking that I am now ready for at least some of your ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and writings on your website. I will write you more next week, if you don't mind. I want to read! ...You may certainly use my letter as a testimonial. It's the least repayment I can make you for all the stimulation, excitement, and fun I've been having reading your reports. However, while I am not in the least concerned about my letter, it may be best to use it anonymously, since I wouldn't want everyone to think of me as "that woman with the horny brain," even if that might be true. There are times I must maintain a professional semblance, after all. So, please feel free to use it however you think appropriate, but please remove my name... I am sincerely fascinated by the work you are doing. I am much too worked up about it to be constructively critical, though that may come. I am managing editor of... I recall something one Blake scholar said at his first reading of Blake's epic, 'Jerusalem.' He said he got hard and stayed hard for the entire reading of the poem (it is a *long* poem). Please forgive my use of so many sexual metaphors, but reading the Terra Libra reports is having somewhat the same effect on me! ...Some time later: Woman with the horny brain here. For the past month or so I've been reading all the reports on your webpage again. This time, saving them and taking them home for further study. They are so exciting, especially in these times of turmoil and that ugly political circus in DC. And, on your advice, I bought two books: 'The Path of Least Resistance' [by Robert Fritz] and 'Million Dollar Habits' [by Robert Ringer]. I've started "Path," and my oh my -- what a GREAT book! Thank you, once again, for providing such wonderful material. I intend to take it all fully to heart and more than that, to act on it... Now I will build freedom and creativity." (Name withheld) |
Power/Freedom/Prosperity "Dear Frederick, Although I've technically paid money for most everything I've received from you (eg., reports, newsletters, Irvine seminar, etc.), I cannot help but feel a debt of gratitude toward you for everything you've either directly or indirectly caused to come into my life through your materials. This letter is a token of my thanks and appreciation for the marvelous and exciting changes I'm seeing both in my thinking and in my outer circumstances. I first ordered your materials from your ad in the April or May '94 Libertarian Party News. Something in that ad really grabbed me! I think it was, for the first time, having the real possibility of practical freedom available in my life NOW. From the start, a major theme of yours has always been the absolute importance and necessity of "PERSONAL POWER." Although I always felt I understood what you meant by that, recent revelations in the last couple of months within myself have convinced me that my understanding had been primarily intellectual. And that's fine; change always begins with theory. But now I'm starting to EXPERIENCE the literal meaning of those two words; that "personal power" is a certain feeling of security, confidence and expanded possibilities and opportunities not seen or understood before. [Emphasis Added] I cannot help but repeat ideas and phrases that have appeared in your materials from the start. That as one gains "personal power," the "terrors of the tyrant" begin to lessen. All of a sudden those things you always thought or suspected would not be possible to do (amongst other things, too dangerous!), are now solidly within the realm of possibility. You see more clearly how to arrange your life and affairs advantageously in ways that "Big Brother" most probably will not be able to (cannot?) do anything about - if in fact "he" is even aware of what you're doing. All of a sudden the truth of this realization opens up tremendous possibilities for not only, as you've always put it, "making a fortune" (which most certainly is a type of freedom in itself), but for me, just as significantly, SIMULTANEOUSLY weakening the tyrant in a way that is VASTLY MORE EFFECTIVE than casting one vote, i.e., "bleeding the tyrant" by channeling resources out of the "loop" that the tyrant has created. From my viewpoint, a definite WIN-WIN situation for all "women and men of good will!" Frederick, what can I say; the major themes that you've been repeating all along have PROVED to be true! ...The last day of March was my last day of working for someone "in the system." Now I get to look forward to the fun and excitement of looking for those individuals of good will that are open to be shown how they too, in a relatively short time, can gain a level of personal and financial freedom that up till now they've probably only dreamed about (if that)! Like many people, I've more or less been spreading the message of the desirability of freedom all of my adult life (I might add, for free). And that's been just great and a lot of fun and satisfaction and I intend to continue. But now I can show people what they can specifically start doing IMMEDIATELY to significantly increase their freedom in the present. And I'm being offered a potential fortune to do it! Now that's "the power of knowledge!" Also significantly Frederick, through you I found out about Scope International and the writings of W.G. Hill. His writings have helped greatly expand my views of the world and the freedom that's available NOW for those who are ready, as "the mysterious writer J.E.T." said, "to seize their freedom." I highly recommend his writings! It bears repeating, "KNOWLEDGE IS POWER." My hat's off to you, Frederick. Keep up the good work!" David T. Smith |
